IYKYK plant-based drinks aren’t your average T** drink! We intentionally pair T** with C** from plants. C** works with the uplifting effects of T** rather than counter it, like C**’s sleepy effects. plant-based drinks also come in bold fruit flavors that give your taste buds a buzz as well.
IYKYK plant-based drinks have a quick onset of effects. That means the T** and C** in our bevvies are emulsified in smaller droplets, so they are more easily absorbed in the stomach. Easier to absorb = enter your bloodstream faster. For many people, the onset time is reduced to as little as 10-15 minutes. Compare it to how drinks with slower onset can surprise you – if you’ve consumed too much without realizing how overwhelming the effects are, you can’t put that genie back in the bottle.
T** in our beverages is typically absorbed through your digestive system, processed by the liver, and then enters your bloodstream. It interacts with your body’s endocannabinoid system, affecting mood, appetite, and relaxation. IYKYK plant-based drinks have a quick onset of effects, which makes them a good choice for a more predictable experience.
C** is much more abundant in most plant strains and is easier and more affordable to extract. C**, on the other hand, is typically found in lower concentrations, making it more challenging (and expensive) to obtain in large amounts. We like a challenge. Since C** is mainly known for its relaxing, calming effects and C** is associated with more uplifting experiences, IYKYK uses C** as a better choice for a social beverage. ‘Cuz who wants to be tired at the party?
The key: Go low and slow. If you’re new to T** drinks, start with a low dose. Sip about half the can slowly and wait at least 10 - 30 minutes or so to gauge the effects before consuming more. Low and slow allows you to ease into the experience and helps prevent any overwhelming effects.
The effects of a T** drink typically last 2 to 4 hours, depending on your tolerance and how much you’ve consumed. You might feel relaxed, happy, or experience heightened senses. Some people also get an increased appetite (“the munchies”). As the effects wear off, you’ll gradually return to your normal state. Everyone reacts differently, so take your time to learn your limits and consume accordingly.
T** works in the body differently than alcohol, and it doesn’t dehydrate you or leave you with headaches the next day. Starting with a low dose allows you to understand how your body responds to T**, especially if you’re new to plant or haven't consumed it in a while.
